Laura Pauley created Love Saves the Day PR in 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic.

With a wealth of experience in media, communications and PR. Laura has overseen two of Hampshire’s fast-paced press and communications teams for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and Portsmouth Hospitals. She currently manages all the PR, Communications and influencer activity at the large visitor attraction, British Airways i360 Viewing Tower.

As a former reporter, Laura has great news sense and can seek out a compelling story or angle. She can confidently generate publicity and awareness by creating eye-catching campaigns and pitching them to the target audience of press, influencers or stakeholders. Over the last two years and throughout the pandemic Laura has exceeded PR KPIs, increasing them from 1bn to 3bn in year one, and then to 4.7bn in year two for one business. Over the same time Laura introduced an influencer marketing strategy to the business, and within seven months of trading they had reached 1,207,290 accounts, content about their brand had been shown 1,317,638 times, and they had 100,000 clicks to their Instagram profile.

Laura is skilled at crisis communications, working under pressure and to tight deadlines. With great people skills, she can liaise with the same press when working across positive and negative stories and can handle sensitive and high-profile issues with the ability to be both tactful and discreet in the rebuttal of headlines.

In 2013 Laura worked on a high-profile inquest where she protected an organisation's reputation before, during and after an inquest; controlling the media at the scene of an incident, briefing media, multi-agency working and working under pressure in an out-of-hours setting.

She have worked on a lot of broadcast projects, organising and overseeing film crews for many TV shows, including a week of live filming for the TV show, This Morning, multiple broadcasts for GMB, MTV, BBC, ITV, The Premier League, Sky Sports, CH4, CH5  and Good Morning America.

Laura is very comfortable around MPs, celebrities and VIPs having worked with many over the years.

In 2010 Laura launched her first book in Waterstones bookstore, My Summer Bump. In 2019 a second book was released, My Asian Summer, a memoir to backpacking Asia with her five-year-old daughter.
